Regions

Graz: short distances to the producer, long ones to the customer.

In Styria the supplier is often in the next village — while the buyers are spread across the whole province.

What the market looks like here

Styria is shaped by agriculture, and that changes goods-in: many small deliveries from regional producers instead of a few large pallets. Each of those brings its own batches, its own shelf lives and its own packaging logic.

Meat processing carries particular weight here. Where raw material and finished goods run under one roof, clean batch assignment decides whether an inspection takes half an hour or two days.

Delivery runs across scattered towns into southern and eastern Styria. Routes are longer than in Vienna and re-deliveries correspondingly more expensive — the mistake has to surface before departure, not after.
